About our client

You will be working for our client, a group travel marketplace that is connecting hosts, creators, and community leaders with local tour operators focused on helping them travel with their audiences. Travelers book and pay through their platform, and they pay hosts and operators for the trips delivered. They are a team of about 30 people with a small finance team, so this role is visible and has room to grow.

In your day-to-day, you will

• Code and process vendor bills and contractor payments in Ramp and NetSuite


• Reconcile Ramp and Transferz activity to NetSuite each month


• Post bank-feed activity in NetSuite and keep it up to date


• Prepare and submit insurance manifests for upcoming trips


• After training (by March 2027), prepare host earnings and operator payment batches from system reports, including payments in other currencies


• Reconcile host and operator prepaid balances each month


• Answer routine host and operator payment questions and escalate anything unusual the same day


• Prepare the payroll journal entry from the payroll provider's summary report


• Support month-end close and the annual audit with schedules and supporting documents


• Help keep written procedures current as processes change

Skills you have

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or staff accounting


• Hands-on experience preparing vendor payments and reconciliations


• Experience with an ERP or accounting system (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage Intacct)


• Strong professional English, written and spoken, and comfort writing to vendors and partners


• High attention to detail and the judgment to stop and ask when something looks wrong


• A dedicated work device and a reliable internet connection


• Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a background check

Skills that will make you stand out

• NetSuite experience, including bills, payments, and bank reconciliations


• Multi-currency or international payments experience


• Experience with Ramp or a similar spend-management tool


• Accounting degree or progress toward a professional qualification


• Experience in travel, marketplaces, or businesses with many small payees
